Gru, an evil villain is trying to become the best villain that ever lived. And he’s got a plan how to do it. He, with the help of his yellow minions, is going to steal the moon! The only problem is that Vector (another super villain) has the same plan. As part of his plan to steal the moon Gru has adopted three little girls Margo, Edith and Agnes, and as the fight for the moon goes on Gru finds out he would rather be a father.
The second part (Despicable me 2) continues where the first on has left off. As Gru is no longer a super villain and has become dad, he tries to change his evil image by working together with the agent Lucy to stop a new super villain who has come to town.
