The two blades are hidden inside the lightsaber's handle and can be used independently. The blades can be lightened up separately. With open blades the sabre has a length of approx. 150cm. The handle is 39cm in length. You can also use one blade only; in this case, the sabre has a length of approx. 87cm.

To use the saber you need four AA batteries, which are not included! You will find the batteries below under "Appropriate products...".
